Blue Belted Pants

I'm feeling like I should be at the beach watching the sunset with is outfit. It must be the striped top and wide leg pants just always gives me that vibe. This outfit is also really cute and girly. I love how the ruffled shoulders on this blouse really softens the look giving it a casual chic feel.

Since I am now a busy mom of two it's going to be a more casual summer for me. We spend a lot of time outside playing in the backyard and going to the park. The days are hot so having an outfit that is light weigh and breathable is a must. I have a hard time finding shorts that I love and being only 5'2"ish can also make it challenging. I picked up these shin length belted pants from Joe fresh . They are a light weight jean material that has a lot of give to it making it more relaxed and fits looser.

I've styled these outfit in a blue monochromatic look with a touch of blush. The blouse is from winners I picked it up last August and has a blue and white vertical strip. I especially love how this blouse look tucked in so given that these pants are high waisted was an excellent fit. I paired this outfit with these simple t-strap sandals because the pants already fit a bit longer on my shins I didn't want my shoes to look to bulky.

Lastly I kept my accessories simple and all in blush. I found these adorable tassel earring at Walmart just before Christmas and now that it's finally summer I am able to pair them more with my outfits. I always get complements on them every time I wear them.

I recently discovered that this tree is called a Catalpa tree, I have only seen them in a few locations around town and by my work. I love how the leaves look and all of the beautiful white flowers. It really reminds me of being somewhere warm and on vacation! Yes even though I am on maternity leave I am just dreaming of going somewhere even if it's just for the weekend, a change in scenery is much needed these days.
