Pretty in Pink

I love the look of a long skirt flowing ever so elegantly in the wind and this skirt is a dream!! I'm a huge fan of circle skirts and I've made a few of my own. When I first saw this beautiful pink skirt I knew it was a must for my wardrobe because I didn't own anything quite like this yet. But don't worry if pink isn't your colour, this skirt is also available in a range of beautiful solid satin-like fabrics.
One of the things that makes this skirt so amazing is the fitted waist band!!
There is an invisible side zipper to make it easy when putting the skirt on and elastic band at the back to help the skirt fit to your shape. Fitted waist bands really make your skirt look more expensive and elegant which gives you a more polished look, especially when tucking blouses or sweaters into the skirt. As someone with a more pear shape body, the circle skirt is so flattering on because it accentuates your waist. Normally I love tulle skirts but this large pleated detail flows and drapes so lovely when on, and is so fun to twirl in. This skirt also has an under layer that is more fitted to the body so you don't have to worry if the wind does catch the top layer of the skirt. The additional layer also helps to keep you warm in colder months.

The vibrant pink colour is perfect for late winter and spring, making this skirt easy to dress up with a beautiful blouse or sweater and also dress down with a more casual look with a tee or long sleeve top. I really love the look of black and white outfits, it's so classic and chic, but I also love incorporating some pink touches to the traditional black and white style. Another fun way to wear this skirt is putting together a monochromatic look, so here I still have the black and white but I'll also add some other shades of pink with this blush pink wrap coat and this beautiful blush quilted leather bag.

This bag is a dream and I love how the straps are adjustable to wear long over the shoulder or shorter with the two straps. I have a few other bags with straps designed like this and I love how you get so much more use out of it being able to wear it different ways. One of the main reasons to what drew my eye to this bag is the beautiful quilted detail. I'm a girl who loves a good quilted bag especially the diamond pattern, but this bag has a lovely chevron pattern that has an elegant vintage feel to it.
